Our one and only cub scout holding his third place winning, most unusual metal toting, green machine, Pinewood Derby truck. You have no idea how difficult it was to get this picture. I'm usually allowed one or two shots and if they are lousy shots, too bad! His attitude gets as lousy as my shots! Then my prompting for him to smile becomes a not so pleasent demand for him to turn back around and "smile like you mean it!" Yeah, that works! If it were not for E. taking this with her phone, we wouldn't even have a decent photo! But, the eye-rolling, picture taking tension went away as soon as I put the camera away. Grandmothers!!!
I'll do a belated birthday post tomorrow. I have to make myself get away from this computer and go to bed. I'm obsessed!

You've greatly understated the struggle to get a decent picture of Bryce. There's nothing charming about the attitude that emerges seemingly from nowhere and disappears equally as suddenly once the camera has disappeared. Nonetheless- yeah Bryce for 3rd place.
